Visiting Botswana

When people ask me where I would like to go it is probably Botswana. It is one of the most magical places on earth and I never tire of being there.

Camps are small and blend into nature. Open vehicles with expert guides take you out twice daily and know as much about the spectacular birdlife as the many animals.

Go gently down the waterways with your guide poling the mokoros and enjoy sundowners with magnificent views and with luck spotting the elusive Sitatunga. Our guide once asked – and where would you like your sunset tonight, sir?

Dine in the boma under the millions of southern stars and share stories around the campfire. There is nowhere in the world quite like Botswana. Light aircraft will take you from camp to camp and it is not unusual to have to shoo warthogs off the runway before landing!
