While many automatically think of Tahiti as a place of relaxation among the blue coral seas, it is also home to many of the top scuba diving locations in the world! The island of Rangiroa is famous among divers, offering clear tropical temperature water to swim through and a bountiful marine life. The area is well known for the abundance of various varieties of sharks, rays, dolphins and other reef species. Rangiroa is also one of the only places in the world where people are able to dive with dolphins!
