Have you had the urge to go on a new journey, only to find that you can’t decide between two completely different destinations? Thanks to our friends and partners at Wilderness Safaris and White Desert Antarctica, you can now experience the best of both sides of the world. Two continents, one trip!
Africa + Antarctica
The combined itinerary travels to Cape Town, Antarctica, and then onwards to Botswana!
15 Days – Cape Town, Antarctica, & Botswana
Day 1-2: Arrive in Cape Town
Start your journey by exploring South Africa’s unforgettable Cape Town! Staying at Cape Grace for 2 nights, you will be greeted by a private guide who will assist you in seeing Cape Town’s iconic ocean vistas, and beautiful winelands. This is where White Desert will conduct a comprehensive safety briefing, just in time for your flight to Antarctica.
Day 3-6: Antarctica
From Cape Town you will take a private jet to White Desert’s private runway overlooking the mountains of Wolfs Fang. Here you will be staying in one of the newly built luxury camps. Jump on a two-hour flight to Atka Bay, where you can be one of the few people around the world to observe the Emperor Penguin Colony, and the birth of their penguin chicks! You can also participate in excursions such as scaling ice walls, hiking large glaciers, abseiling, rope walking, and exploring ice tunnels!

Day 9-11: Fly to Botswana
Fly out to Okavango Delta where you will then take a private jet transfer to Vumbura Plains. This is where you will be staying in the nature-immersed luxury camp for 2 nights and marvel at the passing parade of wildlife right outside your window. This part of your trip includes a private plunge pool and sunken living rooms with panoramic vistas!
Day 12-14: DumaTau Camp
Take a brief, scenic flight to the newly rebuilt DumaTau camp in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. The camp overlooks the Osprey Lagoon (home to mega herds of elephants!). Other amenities include large suites, private pools, and outdoor showers. A specialist private photographic guide will ensure you get the most of your stay!
