In 1965, two brothers with a boat and a dream started a business on Arthurs Point Beach in New Zealand. That dream has turned into Shotover Jet Services, the first jet boat operator in the world to have been in operation for 50 years. Shotover is known throughout the world as the premier adventure tourism operator in Queenstown.

Shotover Jet consistently provides unique trips for each passenger, of which they’ve had quite a few – over 3 million – and they have even been visited by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II back in 1990.

To celebrate this milestone, Shotover is providing free rides to anyone who is 50 years of age this November. If you were born between 01 November 1964 and 30 November 1965, you are eligible for a free ride – just show up with your passport, strap on a life jacket, and get ready for the trip of a lifetime!
