When traveling to South Africa, each traveler must have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the intended return date from South Africa. South African law requires that all travelers have two fully blank visa pages in their passport for each entry into South Africa. For example, if you will enter South Africa twice during your trip, you must have 4 fully blank visa pages. This does not include the Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport. Travelers without the required blank visa pages in their passports may be denied boarding onto their flight, or may be refused entry to South Africa, fined and returned to their point of origin at their own expense.

Additionally, there are new immigration regulations for minors entering South Africa. The following will be enforced starting 01 June 2015 . Even if a child is traveling with both biological parents, parents must produce an unabridged birth certificate.
