It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Kit Schultze. She was much more than the Vice President of Esplanade – she was our colleague and devoted friend. She loved traveling and enjoyed nothing more than sharing her curiosity about the world with her friends and clients, but New Zealand was her love and it always beckoned her.

Kit inspired all of us, and surely many of you, in various ways. She loved the simple things in life – sunsets and sunrises, the full moon, being barefoot with sand between her toes, a quiet morning or evening swim in her lake. She was all about experiences and not possessions. We will carry on with her in our hearts and do all we can to emulate her beautiful personality.

In this difficult time, our team is working to make sure there is a seamless transition. Ksusha Levkovich, who worked alongside Kit for more than 10 years, is the new Director of Asia-Pacific Region and will head all New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, and South Pacific requests. Tess Holman is now Director of Operations and will provide back-up support as necessary.

While this kind of loss is unimaginable, we plan to continue sharing the beauty and wonder of the world with all of you. It is the passion that Kit instilled within each of us, and we will continue on in her memory.
