If you’re up for an adventurous trip to a destination that is off the beaten track, you might want to consider the wondrous country of Greenland. Witness stunning views, climb rigorous terrain, and be immersed in complete serenity.
We invite you to read on about Dan M.’s experience below!
“I got home from my Greenland trip Sunday night and have just emerged from a large pile of laundry. The trip was wonderful. All the fights and hotel arrangements were perfect.
Greenland was indeed very different from any of my other travels in the Asia/Pacific and Latin American regions. One interesting observation is that in terms of culture it very much reminds me of a cold version of Guam. The scenery was stunningly beautiful, and the quality of light was unusual. It was very clear, unfiltered and bright white, probably because there is no air pollution.
It was physically demanding, both in terms of the three days of travel on either end of the trip and the 8 miles/day of hiking over rough terrain for the fishing. But it was definitely worth the effort, and at 72 I was happy to be there and able to do it. ”
