Anantara The Palm

“Our hotel – Jumeirah Beach Hotel – looked at one of the most stunning sites in Dubai, the beautiful Burj al Arab, from its exquisite sandy beach. 

The hotel is unique with everything from the most extensive buffet breakfast in the world to an English pub and delicious Italian restaurant. 

Unlike some of the giant resorts, everything is very accessible and there are even golf carts to take you around the property and other venues along the beachfront. 

The rooms are beautiful with spacious verandahs, gorgeous bathrooms, and some of the best service around. 

We visited this past April [2021] and their pandemic precautions were discreetly in place where Covid tests before returning home were conducted in your room. 

The beach staff always make sure towels, chairs, tubs of bottled water (or favorite adult beverage) are on hand and the lifeguards patrol the waters paddling in kayaks. 

Of course, there is a lot to see in Dubai. Visit the beautiful Jumeirah Mosque, the Dubai Museum, and cross the Creek to the gold and spice souks. Not afraid of heights? Venture up the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa. 

Tour the extensive fish market early morning and ride dune buggies in the desert before an evening of music and dance. After your stay in Dubai, a few nights at Al Maha in the Arabian desert, complete with camels, Oryx and Falconry will make your stay exciting and educational!
