Stephanie recently returned to the United States after a year of teaching English in Bangkok, Thailand, and traveling throughout Asia. She looks forward to sharing her travel experiences with the clients of Esplanade Travel and assisting them in their upcoming trips.
Stephanie’s love for travel and experience with new cultures began during her time spent studying at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, where she pursued a major in Global Studies and a minor in French. She also studied abroad in Leuven, Belgium for one academic year while simultaneously traveling to many countries in Europe. Her studies and travels expanded her global perspective and ignited her desire to explore more of the world.
Stephanie’s Favorite Traveling Moment
“During October 2017, I was fortunate enough to travel to the ancient city of Bagan, Myanmar. For three days, my friends and I rented motor bikes and drove around the vast 26 square mile archaeological zone, weaving through thousands of ancient Buddhist temples. It is one of the few places that I have traveled to that seemed to exist in complete harmony with and yet untouched by the busy modern world.”
While traveling, Stephanie always tries to get out of her comfort zone and experience new things as much as possible. From feeding elephants in the jungle of Thailand to hiking through the Slovenian Alps, Stephanie makes her travels an exciting adventure and she advises others to do the same!
When coordinating your travels, Stephanie will always try to make your trip a positive and memorable experience. She encourages you to take chances and enter your travel journey with an open mind.
